DC Refrigeration Ltd - Version 1.0 - Effective 30 September 2026.
These Website Terms of Use apply to use of the DC Refrigeration Ltd website. They do not replace the separate Terms of Trade that apply when DC Refrigeration accepts a job, quotation, service agreement or maintenance programme.
1. Website purpose
The website provides general information about DC Refrigeration's commercial HVAC, air-conditioning and refrigeration services, including servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance, breakdown support and commercial refrigeration work.
2. No contract created by website use
Submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation or using a website contact form does not by itself create a binding service contract. A contract is formed only when DC Refrigeration accepts the work or the parties otherwise agree to proceed.
3. Information and technical content
DC Refrigeration aims to keep website information accurate and current, but website content is general information only. Equipment requirements, service intervals, compliance obligations and technical solutions depend on the particular site, system, compliance schedule and operating conditions.
4. Urgent breakdowns
Website forms, email enquiries and online requests are not guaranteed to be monitored continuously. DC Refrigeration does not guarantee any response, attendance or repair timeframe through the website. Customers with an urgent commercial breakdown should contact DC Refrigeration by telephone. Any response-time commitment will only apply if it is expressly agreed in a separate written service or maintenance agreement.
5. Quotations and pricing
Any indicative pricing or general service information on the website is not a quotation unless clearly stated otherwise. Formal quotations may be subject to site inspection, equipment condition, parts availability, access requirements and the separate Terms of Trade.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, written content, branding and original material are owned by or licensed to DC Refrigeration Ltd. Material may not be copied, reproduced or commercially reused without permission, except as permitted by law.
7. Third-party links and content
The website may link to manufacturers, suppliers or other external websites. DC Refrigeration does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or content.
8. Website availability and security
DC Refrigeration may modify, suspend or withdraw website content at any time. While reasonable steps may be taken to maintain security and availability, uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DC Refrigeration is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, temporary website unavailability, or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Online payments
The DC Refrigeration website does not process payments, store payment-card details or operate an online checkout. Quotations, invoices and payment arrangements are issued and handled separately from the website. If online payment functionality is introduced in future, these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before that functionality is made available.
11. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with the DC Refrigeration Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Website Terms of Use are governed by New Zealand law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
